PTA Volunteering

There are many opportunities to volunteer for PTA events throughout the school year! The PTA sponsors fundraisers, community-building family events, and student celebrations. Volunteers may provide one-time event help, or even chair an event. To find out about current volunteer needs, contact a current PTA vice president--they are listed on this website under the PTA heading.

You do not have to be a current parent to volunteer. Sellwood welcomes community members to get involved. All Portland Public School volunteers must complete a background check.
